    Title: Bombing Prevention and Preparedness Training Instructor II

     

    Job Summary: Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions (WCTS), an International Firm specializing in protecting people and infrastructure from terrorist and extremist threats worldwide, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced instructor to provide Bombing Prevention and Preparedness Training for West Virginia’s National Guard Joint Interagency Training Education Center (JITEC).  This position provides computer based Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) and traditional face to face training support at various locations within the United States and its territories.

     

    Work Location:  St. Albans, WV

     

    Travel:  50 - 75%+

    Responsibilities

    Requirements and Responsibilities include:

     

    • Possess strong written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills to develop and present curriculum to Critical Infrastructure/Key Resource (CI/KR) public and private sector stake holders, law enforcement and security professionals.
    • Possess strong computer skills and have extensive experience working with computer-based training tools such as web conferencing software.
    • Analyzing current terrorism trends/organizations/objectives and understanding methods of preventing terrorism.
    • Understanding of security risk management principles and objectives.
    • In-depth understanding of Industrial Security protective measures system principles and CI/KR site protective measure design strategy.
    • Surveillance Detection: experience in surveillance, surveillance detection, counter surveillance, counter intelligence and/or special operations with duties in surveillance and/or surveillance detection.
    • Counterterrorism Awareness: experience in anti-terrorism, counter terrorism, terrorism awareness, security and or terrorism prevention strategies with duties in anti-terrorism, counter terrorism, terrorism awareness, security and/or terrorism prevention strategies, IED awareness, and/or EOD expertise.
    • Willingness to travel up to three weeks per month presenting courses.
    • Active Secret clearance

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience as a certified law enforcement officer, firefighter or military affiliation with special skills (Bomb Squad, SWAT, Police Sniper, Executive Protection, SAR, Investigations, etc.)
    • 2 years instructor experience or training position with law enforcement or military.
    • Knowledgeable with Learning Management Systems.
