    Responsibilities

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Support and produce deliverables in the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) including:
    • Produce realistic, data-driven project and operations estimates.
    • Collect, analyze, and evaluate historical data and expert opinion to provide a basis for assumptions, methodologies, and estimate results, applying sound reason and appropriate judgment
    • Develop and implement research plans
    • Interact with research subjects, including government officials and other subject matter experts, in the research process and with research sponsors in communicating results
    • Apply advanced quantitative-grounded application techniques (e.g., probability and statistics, optimization, etc.) to solve complex problems
    • Conduct modeling and simulation
    • Identify, visualize, and analyze data from a variety of sources using industry leading BI Applications.

     

     

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Possess an Active Secret security clearance
    • US Citizen
    • Five years (5) of Naval ORSA experience
    • Proven ability to translate requirements and observations into clearly defined written products (briefings, reports, White Papers) in short timeframes.
    • Ability to summarize and effectively communicate information from the Staff to Executive level
    • ORSA Certification
    • Familiarity with modeling, simulation and other quantitative techniques employed in the analysis of military capabilities or military force requirements and/or operational performance assessment of the naval aspects of a military (including non-kinetic) campaign.

     

     

    Additional Qualifications:

    • An advanced degree in national security strategy, military operations research, engineering or similar highly quantitative discipline.
    • Successful completion of Senior-level Professional Military Education (a War College graduate)
